Dental Appointments

We know you have many choices when choosing a Dentist in Port Orchard, WA so we have made requesting an appointment a simple process via our Web site. If, for any reason, you cannot keep a scheduled appointment, or will be delayed, please call us as soon as possible.

Insurance and Billing

We accept most traditional insurance plans, contact our office to verify acceptance of your plan. Family Dental Associates does not participate in Health Management Organizations; however, we will be happy to file your insurance claims for you. We accept checks, cash, or credit cards. We also offer a flexible payment plan. Please see our Financial Coordinator for details. We are happy to file insurance for your reimbursement as long as you are free to choose your own dentist.

Financing Options

Cherry is a third-party financing provider that helps consumers access essential services — like veterinary, dental, and medical care — by breaking payments into monthly or weekly installments. Used by a wide range of businesses, Cherry supports patients through flexible financing options that match their healthcare needs.

Here’s how it works:

1. A client completes our 60-second application, undergoing a soft credit check for pre-qualification (which doesn’t hurt their credit score). Cherry never conducts a hard credit check.
2. If approved, patients can choose from multiple dental payment plan options that meet their financing needs.
3. The provider receives full payment from Cherry, minus the merchant processing fee, usually within 2–3 business days.
4. The client goes forward with their dental health treatment and repays Cherry over a set period of time.
